Embark on an exciting adventure into the heart of the jungle at our Jungle Journey Vacation Bible School! From July 8th to July 12th, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, elementary students are invited to join us for an unforgettable week of fun, learning, and exploration.

Experience the Wonders of the Jungle:

• Interactive Bible Lessons: Dive deep into the stories of the Bible as we explore the jungle and discover God's love and plan for each of us.

• Engaging Activities: From crafts to games, every activity is designed to bring the jungle to life and reinforce the day's lessons.

PreK through 4th Grade Welcome! We will be Shining Jesus’ Light! Join Us!

Good News Community Church is joining with the Spirit Lake United Methodist and Harbor of Joy Lutheran Churches to build SWIM’s Chlorine Producing Units (CPUs) on April 28 & 29. There will be two 1 ½ hour shifts starting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and two more starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Our goal is to build 100 CPUs. Those will provide safe water to approximately 100,000 people.

There are jobs for every skill level, from measuring and cutting wire, to installing connectors, to soldering clips. Training will be offered at every station. Families with youth ages 12+ are encouraged to come. The Build will take place at the Wesley Place, on Hill Ave. across from the courthouse. Please park in the United Methodist Church parking lot at that back of the building.

A sign up sheet will be available at church on April 16 & 23. There are only a limited number of spaces available, so make sure to register. One and a half hours of your time will make a world of difference for those who lack access to safe water.

We desperately want to stay faithful in these times, but we know we can’t muster up the faith all on our own. IF:2023 matters to us, because for two days we get to gather and remind each other that God is who we need. God is who will provide. We gather for two days of worship, with our Bibles, and we ask God to move.
