Kids Ministry
Learn more about Kids Ministry at Good News.
Kids at Good News
We think kids and families are absolutely important at Good News and we want to take the discipleship of our young ones seriously. We strive to create a fun, safe, and cohesive environment that builds from one age to the next.
We utilize a Kid’s curriculum called: OneStory. One Story helps kids understand God’s big story for them!
Every leader and volunteer at Good News undergoes a criminal background check and receives training on abuse prevention.

FAQs
How do I check my child in?
At each location we have a check-in option to check in your nursery or elementary aged kids. We start by collecting necessary information about you and your child and then will print out a sticker for your child and a matching sticker for the adult/guardian. The parent/guardian ticket will be required upon pickup of the child.
Do you serve snacks?
Yes! But we have some guidelines that we follow. Good News is a peanut, tree-nut free childcare area. We only allow water in our nursery and kids classrooms serve only dairy-free, gluten-free, peanut, and tree-nut free items to our little ones. If your child has extra guidelines, please make sure to let us know upon checking your child in.
Who contacts me if there’s a problem?
One of our ministry leaders will contact you by text message, or by your sticker’s alphanumeric number on the screen, to notify you to come to your child.
Do you have health and safety guidelines?
You bet we do! You can read those here.
